Running mac and windows together
If you’re crazy about the beauty and simplicity on the Mac os but are bound to use Windows forever with the type of software you utilize then you definately may seem like you’ve got no options. Fortunately there are many solutions to help you still receive the Mac you desire.
I get a 24″ Imac and absolutely love it. I obtained as an Apple customer but was required to switch to Windows when all of the work software I used only ran on Windows. Because of the modern OS10 that operates on a Linux platform you can run windows on a mac in a variety of ways.
My personal options are VMWare Fusion which provides you with a virtual environment through which to operate any os, not only windows. Programs called Parallels and VirtualBox do the same. I just preferred the interface of VMWare’s product.
You can also use bootcamp which allows you to reboot your pc directly into windows or Mac, take your pick. However, applying this method you can’t run both of them at the same time. With the virtual method above you are able to run them simultaneously and in many cases drag and drop files directly from one OS for the other. How sweet is the fact that?
I build mac side of my machine for as much as possible. The windows side is restricted to 3rd party programs that are not mainstream (online marketing type) and Quicken, that is the world’s best management of their money software for your home kitchen. Only didn’t need those programs so much I wouldn’t run windows whatsoever. Mac is merely far superior ‘s all respects.
