No matter how bad the situation might seem, there just might be light at the end of the tunnel. Ordinarily, foreclosure is effected only if you fail to make payment of the debt that you owe at the time that you are meant to. In this regards, the first step to stopping foreclosure is to ensure that you have paid all that you owe. Only if you are unable to assert this do you need to look to other options.
